The Theatre Arts Program presents John Cariani’s “Almost, Maine,” guest directed by alumnus Tom Brennan with student Jordan Kennedy, assistant director, on Thursday, April 25; Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27. All performances are free and at 7:30 p.m. in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, located in the Siek Campus Center.
This charming romantic drama reveals truth and tenderness as the quirky and lovable townsfolk of Almost experience the magic of an aurora-filled winter evening. Performances showcase the work of 20 student cast and crew members. The play explores love and relationships with a touch of magic-realism. Described as romantic, playful, insightful, challenging and uplifting, “Almost Maine” is a provocative love letter with an unusual heart.
