Deanne Martocci, director of the Center for Access and Adaptive Technology, recently was appointed to the New York State Disability Services Council Executive Board’s SUNY Sector. Martocci will serve a minimum two-year term.
The NYSDSC provides a forum to discuss and find solutions to common problems in the delivery of disability services to student in higher education, as well as serves as a resource to government agencies and other organizations interested in higher education for students with disabilities. Membership in the organization is open to employees of degree-granting higher education institutions within New York State who make policy or who are involved in compliance or coordination of disability services at their campus.
