In celebration of Black History Month, please stop by the Club Corner to watch: “Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story.” (The Club Corner is the area just outside of the Student Activities Office on the second floor of the Siek Campus Center.)
The film focuses on the life of Ben Carson, a renowned brain surgeon. Carson overcame prejudice and discrimination to change the course of medicine forever as one of the world’s leading neurosurgeons.
The film will be shown at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 and at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14.
The film series is sponsored by the Student Activities Office, Educational Opportunity Program and Black and Latino Student Union.
