Join Ainsley Thomas, the college’s chief diversity officer, at the 1st-ever African American Heritage Parade on Saturday, Aug. 31. The parade, sponsored by the Capital District African Heritage Consortium and the YMCA, will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Clinton Avenue at Lark Street to Lincoln Park, and will feature music and dance.
