Ernest R. Rugenstein, an adjunct faculty member in the History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences Department, gave two presentations over the Labor Day weekend at the Iroquois Indian Museum’s Annual Festival. His presentations centered on the history of Akwesasne and the influence the border has had on the social and cultural everyday life of the reservation. He also took questions and had discussions about his presentation and his book, “Akwesasne, Divided by more than the St. Lawrence River.”
