The Hudson Valley Community College Foundation is now accepting applications for Second Chance Scholarships and Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarships.
Second Chance Scholarships are aimed at students who not only are in need, but who have overcome tremendous personal obstacles in order to pursue an education. The goal is to reward those who demonstrate the initiative and desire to achieve self-sufficiency through education. Students also are required to demonstrate academic achievement.
Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarships are offered through a collaboration between the SUNY Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Faculty Student Association and the Foundation. Scholarships are for students who can contribute to the diversity of the campus (i.e. those with a physical or other disability, first generation college student, racial/ethnic minority, non-English speaking background) and who have demonstrated the high academic achievement characteristic of an honors program.
Currently enrolled students are invited to apply online at: https://hvcc.academicworks.com.
All applications must be completed using this online process. If you do not know or cannot remember your username or password, please see the Student Username and Password Help page.
Completed applications are due by Oct. 14, 2019.
