Workforce Development offers Revit® — MEP Basics course starting on Oct. 21

 

Revit® – MEP Basics enables those who have worked with the software to expand their knowledge in designing for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades. We will use office standards with templates that include annotation styles, pre-set views, sheets, schedules, creating basic element types and families. Prior to starting this course, you should be comfortable with the fundamentals of Revit® and have a knowledge of basic techniques.

Those who successfully complete the course will:

  • Develop skills using office standards with templates
  • Understand how to use proper templates for each trade – mechanical, electric and plumbing – in conjunction with architectural model.
  • Create 3D drawings for presentations
  • Apply knowledge in real world drawing projects

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 10th‐grade reading and math skills
  • Computer skills, including Windows operating system
  • Revit® – Introduction course or basic Revit® Architecture or MEP use/knowledge
