The Center for Access and Assistive Technology (CAAT) would like to invite the campus community to attend a webinar presented by AHEAD (Association on Higher Education and Disability).
Deficiencies in web and electronic document accessibility have become increasingly apparent over the past few years and, as a result, more lawsuits have been filed and fines have been levied. Colleges and universities are at risk when students, faculty, and/or staff cannot access electronic content required for application, class work, or to complete work-related duties. We’ll look at some of the cases, the outcomes, and discuss prevention strategies for our campus.
