The Planning Committee of the Academic Senate has completed a draft Strategic Plan for 2014-2019. The complete document was previously released in the Campus Chronicle on Feb. 28 and is available again at the link below:

The Planning Committee has spent the past 18 months developing the new Strategic Plan using information from a variety of sources including focus groups, college- and SUNY-level data, environmental scans, demographic data, trend analysis, and the data collected as part of the Middle States Self-Study process. The strategic directions and priorities described in the plan resulted from extensive analysis and discussion of this information.
The Planning Committee expects to present the final 2014-2019 Strategic Plan to the Academic Senate at the April 28 meeting. It will then be sent to Senior Staff and the President for their review, then submitted to the Board of Trustees for final approval.
The Committee now seeks campus-wide input on this draft plan to create the most comprehensive, high quality, collaborative strategic plan possible for use over the next five years. The final open forum on the plan will be today – Thursday, April 10, in the Marvin Library Multipurpose Room from 2 – 4 p.m.
