Celebrate National Novel Writing Month at Hudson Valley Community College

November is National Novel Writing Month!

Take the challenge and write your novel this year! Hudson Valley Community College students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join English Instructor Tara Eaton during the month of November in the Marvin Library Multipurpose Room (room 235) to work on their novels.

Eaton will hold an introductory session for interested writers on Monday, Nov. 4 from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Feel free to join for some or all of the sessions listed below. Bring a manuscript you’re already working on OR start that novel you’ve been dreaming of writing!

For inspiration, ask Professor Jim LaBate about the novel he wrote during National Novel Writing Month 2010, My Teacher’s Password. He wants everyone to know that it is possible to write 50,000 words in one month!
