The Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion would like to invite members of our campus community to attend the 2019 SUNY Diversity Conference. The event will be held on Dec. 3, 4 and 5 at the Albany Marriot, located at 189 Wolf Road, Albany.
The conference will include:
- Speakers and panelists who will address the “hot issues” and current trends in campus diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Workshops that will provide practical tools and resources such as tool kits, strategies, and best practices
- Networking opportunities and creative problem solving.

2019 SUNY Diversity Conference
Preparing for the future of SUNY will require strategic approaches to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion goals as the higher education landscape changes — shifting student demographics, deepening political fractures, increasing economic stratification, and inevitable changes in the law that will disrupt traditional methods of advancing diversity. As campus change agents who are keenly aware of our accountability, we must explore new alliances, maximize resources, identify and navigate
silos, collaborate, innovate, and demonstrate the value proposition of diversity, equity and inclusion in SUNY.
