Workforce Development’s OSHA-10 Construction Safety Course starts Dec. 7

 

This 10-hour construction safety course is intended for entry-level participants. Each student will receive an OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety wallet card upon successful completion. Training is delivered by a recognized OSHA-10 Construction Safety instructor.

Topic areas covered include the mandatory OSHA-10 Construction Safety topics, including, but not limited to:

  • Introduction to OSHA
  • The OSHA Focus Four Hazards
    • Falls
    • Electrocution
    • Struck-By (e.g., falling objects, trucks, cranes),
    • Caught-In or Between (e.g., trench hazards, equipment)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Health Hazards in Construction, Excavations and Ladders

Prerequisites: None
Location:  Albany Center for Education, 30 North Russell Road
Tuition: $100
