The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Capstone Ceremony will be held at noon on Thursday, May 8 int he BTC Auditorium
Executives from local companies — GE Schenectady, Simmons Machine Tool, Haas Automation, Allendale Machinery Systems, Kintz Plastics and others — will be on hand to recognize this year’s senior class and present awards totaling $2,000.
AMT will distrivte 16 customized working capstone models, valued at $60,000, to 12 sponsors. Also, Haas Automation and GE Research will be presenting their sponsored models to the Regional Hospice in support of their fine work in the area.
More than 200 people attended last year’s ceremony. If you have never attended one of the past AMT Capstone Ceremonies, you will be in for a pleasant surprise.
