The college’s Theatre Club presents Student Directed One Acts on Thursday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 3 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre.
Student directors Phil Bruns, Desiree Conway, James Hope, Melody Kruger, and Olivia VanEpps have developed six exciting short works by popular contemporary playwrights, including the well-loved comedy The Philladelphia, and the startling drama Beirut. If rated, the shows might be considered “PG-13,” with the final selection, Beirut, rated “R” due to occasional strong language and sexual themes.
General admission is $6, admission for off-campus students is $3 and admission is free for HVCC students (with ID).
