Bulmer Telecommunications Center, Meeting Room 1
Presented by Omni Housing Development and Sequence Development
Omni Housing Development and Sequence Development are proposing a 330-bed housing facility targeting the growing number of students seeking on-campus residence at Hudson Valley Community College.
Omni and Sequence were selected to redevelop the former Hy Rosenblum Administration Center site located at the corner of Morrison and Vandenburgh Avenues in Troy following a June 2013 public Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP calls for the private developers to lease the property, build and operate student housing independent from the college.
The Hy Rosenblum Administration Center once housed administrative and student support offices and academic departments. A former seminary that was acquired by the college in the 1980s, the building has been unused for more than three years.
All are welcome to attend today’s meeting.
