The library will again offer the introductory three-hour workshop for faculty to learn about OER (open educational resources). Faculty who complete the workshop are eligible to receive a $100 stipend from the SUNY OER initiative award. Join more than one hundred colleagues who have completed the workshop.
In Fall 2019, estimated student savings from faculty OER adoption exceeded $250,000. While funding is available, faculty who complete successful proposals to adopt or compile OER will receive an additional stipend — this opportunity will be reviewed at the workshop.
Register for the program using the online registration form. (Please first obtain permission from your department chair to participate.) The program will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the Marvin Library multipurpose room. Please note: This event follows the Faculty Workshop Day activities earlier in the day and requires separate registration. Attendance is limited to 25 faculty.
