On behalf of the Academic Senate Chair Professor Joseph Schneider and myself as head of the Election Committee, I want inform you that we have an opening for our FCCC delegate.
This person is our college’s representative on the Faculty Senate for all of the SUNY community colleges. The primary duty of the FCCC delegate is to attend and participate in the FCCC meetings and report back to the Academic Senate. This person is one of the college’s major contacts with the other SUNY schools and serving in this position is an important service to the college.
This position is open to all full-time faculty. If you are interested in this position or would like to nominate someone for this position, please send an email to d.baxter1@hvcc.edu by 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020. The special election is scheduled for the week of February 17, 2020.
