Phyllis J. Sawyer, mother of Peter R. Sawyer, department chair for History, Philosophy and Social Sciences, died peacefully on Feb. 17, 2020.

A memorial service will be held on Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. at Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, 816 NY-50, Burnt Hills, NY.
