Workforce Development offers Historic Wood Window Rehabilitation beginning March 5

 

The Office of Workforce Development, in cooperation with the New York State Historic Preservation Office and the Historic Albany Foundation, is pleased to once again offer the Historic Wood Window Rehabilitation course.

Get hands-on training in the traditional trade of historic window rehabilitation, including the repair of historic sashes, glazing, frames and weights. Learn about 19th and 20th century building window design, as well as the basics of the field of historic preservation, weatherization techniques, and where to market your skills!

March 5 – April 25, 2020
Thursdays, 6 – 9 p.m.
Saturdays (March 14, March 21, April 4 & April 25), 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
40 hours, 4 CEUs, Non-Credit
