Shout out to Darren Ceccucci, ITS, for demonstrating student support, the culture of assessment, and continuous improvement. Darren is so student centered and was essential in the laptop/chromebook rollout which provides computer hardware for our students. He is a reliable participant in the IRC (Instructional Resource Committee), which is the arm of the Academic Senate focused on faculty support. Furthermore, he exemplifies our culture of assessment by being very focused on support-ticket turn around time. We wouldn’t be as successful as we are without Darren’s efforts.
A shout out to Chris Saxe, instructor and co-chair for the Kappa Delta Pi students in the Education and Social Sciences Department. Chris leads and teaches with her heart and goes out of her way to help students and others in need. She is an innovator of new ideas and an inspired educator. All who know Chris know they have found a genuine, kind, and thoughtful person.
