It’s official!
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) has approved the changes to Hudson Valley’s mission, as follows:
Prior mission:
Hudson Valley Community College’s mission is to provide dynamic, student-centered, comprehensive, and accessible educational opportunities that address the diverse needs of the community.
New mission:
Hudson Valley Community College provides transformative, student-centered and high-quality educational opportunities that address the diverse needs of local and global communities.
The new mission was developed as part of the Strategic Plan process, to reflect and support the college’s Priorities and Goals that frame the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan, and as part of the regular review of the college mission, goals and objectives by the Academic Senate Planning Committee.
