Faculty members from the Dental Hygiene Department volunteered at the Annual Joy of Troy Community Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Health Fair focused on Dental Hygiene Oral Self Care and the importance of identifying hidden sugars in the food and drinks we consume.
Other participants and activities included Sage College Physical Therapy, Albany Med OBGYN, Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Screening Stations as well as NEWSTART Health Stations (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust). Activities for the children included pony rides, a painting station, and bouncy house.
