With all entertainment venues closed for the foreseeable future, the Cultural Affairs Program is offering the March 12 concert by Toss the Feathers for your listening pleasure. The trio performs a lively mix of traditional Irish music and songs at pubs, festivals and weddings throughout the Capital Region.
This concert features the group’s recently-debuted program, entitled “Musical Postcards from Irish Albany and Troy,” that recounts with stories and songs the remarkable history of the Irish people who settled the Upper Hudson Valley. Formed in 2015, the band features Amy Schoch, violin, viola and vocals; Dave Smith, Irish bouzouki, banjo and vocals, and David Pease, Irish flute and whistles.
Maria Zemantauski, coordinator of the Cultural Affairs Program and adjunct faculty member, received permission from the musicians to share this event here and on Facebook.
