It is with great sadness that I report Lynne (Ashline) Florio passed away this past Saturday, April 11 due to complications from surgery. Lynne has been a long standing, valued member of the campus community for over 23 years. The Medical Imaging family mourns the loss of such a dear friend and colleague.
Lynne dedicated her life and career to the practice of Radiography. She promoted the highest level of care, compassion, and ethical standards. The Radiology profession was blessed to have an educator so devoted to paying it forward to the future technologists in Medical Imaging. We were all fortunate to learn from Lynne and I have no doubt there are hundreds of Radiologic Technologists and Imaging Professionals who will take away a little something they can always claim to have learned from the best.
