Currently the homeless are in dire need of men’s blue jeans, size 32, 34, 36 and 38 and also men’s sweatpants in those sizes. Length doesn’t matter. With the weather turning colder, the homeless really need these heavier items of clothing as well as blankets and sleeping bags.
If you have any of these items, please contact Tara Farley-Wyckoff (t.farley-wyckoff@hvcc.edu) and she will make plans to get the items from you. If you prefer, you can drop them off at the Joseph’s House Van Center, located at 242 Broadway in Menands.
Lastly, please don’t provide ripped or torn clothing as the idea is provide warmth in the frigid temperatures. Thank you!
