The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Committee met on Oct. 4. The meeting minutes are as follows.
Dr. Margaret Geehan and Meg Mann opened the meeting at 1 p.m. The meeting was held mostly via Zoom.
Middle States Update
Dr. Geehan and Joe Stenard reminded the group that Dr. McDonough will be conducting the college’s preliminary Middle States visit Nov. 6 to 8.
They reminded committee members to be on campus while Dr. McDonough is here; additional reminders will be issued as the time approaches.
Core Indicators
Much of the meeting was used to discuss the IE Plan.
The group reviewed the IE Plan criteria by criteria and decided whether or not to keep each criteria or change it, covering sections 2.2.1 through 3.2.4. (Members will resume with 3.24 at its next meeting.)
The meeting was adjourned at2 p.m.
Upcoming meets were Oct. 18 and Nov. 8.
