Tara Fracalossi, associate professor in the Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media Department and director of The Teaching Gallery, has new work included in Stay Home Make Art, Hudson Valley, NY Edition, an online/social platform exhibition presented by the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the SUNY College at New Paltz.
In early April 2020, The Dorsky Museum asked Hudson Valley artists how are you being creative during social distancing? and received an overwhelming response. The work of 250-plus artists, who shared what they were creating, is now exhibited on the Dorsky Museum’s social media channels (Facebook/Instagram).
Stay Home, Make Art is a virtual exhibition that addresses how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted creative practice, keeps local artwork visible, and promotes safe social distancing.
