REMINDER – Zoom Version Check and appropriate sign in method

All HVCC students, faculty, and staff should be using their HVCC Zoom accounts and the SSO sign in option with the Zoom Desktop Client (pcs or laptops) or the Zoom Mobile App (mobile devices) not Zoom Web version or personal Zoom accounts.

Zoom and IIT are in the process of shoring up the requirements for Zoom. The vendor sets minimum versions for all users, and we fully engage in providing the most secure experience. Zoom will bump the minimum version every 90 days, so it is essential to confirm you are updating your client regularly.

You can check your version and update to the latest version very easily.

You will experience connection issues if your Zoom client is out of date. Please ensure you are running the most recent version and contact the help desk at (518) 629-7364 if you need assistance.
