Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) cosmetology students provided free nail services to those affected by cancer on Giving Tuesday (Nov. 29) in partnership with the Capital Region American Cancer Society and its Hope Club.
Twelve patients, survivors, caregivers, and volunteers, received manicure and pedicure services from the cosmetology students, according to Dr. Denise Fernandez-Pallozzi, executive director of the EOC. Nick Liporace, from the Capital Region American Cancer Society was on hand for the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. event.
