The Center for Effective Teaching (CET) will offer the following workshops via Zoom during the month of July.
Please register to attend.
Wednesday, July 8 — 10 to 11 a.m.
Zoom
This workshop will familiarize you with using Zoom, a “web conferencing” tool similar to Skype or GoToMeeting. Zoom allows you to set up meetings, send invitations to invitees, and then join the meeting using a computer, smartphone, and/or landline phone. We will discuss “best practice” strategies for using Zoom, as well as technical demonstrations on how to sign in to Zoom with your HVCC accounts, how to schedule future meetings, and how to start meetings instantaneously. The demonstration will take approximately 30 minutes, and there will be time for specific questions. Due to the flexible nature of Zoom, DL staff would prefer that you bring specific questions and use cases, so that we can best help you make Zoom work for your specific needs.
