On-campus Support — staff will not be available to conduct ongoing walk-in assistance for faculty and students as we have in the past.
Primary Support Mechanisms
- Help desk ticketing system and phone for urgent and technical issues for students, faculty and staff.
- Blackboard Course Support and other tools for Faculty by appointment only
- Schedule an appointment for Blackboard course assistance or training on other tools

D2L-Brightspace Course Support for Faculty
Training schedules are coming soon.
- Continuation of Course Migration Prep Workshops and scheduled “Open” lab hours for the D2L-Brightspace migration (Group Sessions via Zoom and in-person)
- Online Instructor Training I (OIT 1) – Training for faculty looking to teach online for the first time or new to teaching online at HVCC
- Online Instructor Training II (OIT II) – Training for existing HVCC online faculty
- D2L Brightspace Basics – Training for remote and web-enhancing faculty

The service has been suspended because we no longer have the staff available to complete exam conversions. You can use Respondus to assist you with easy exam creation.
