The Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department will host a STEM Transfer Panel on Monday, March 6 at 2 p.m. in the Science Center, room 120, for STEM students planning to transfer to a four-year school.
Faculty and transfer advisors representing regional colleges, along with former HVCC students who have transferred, will talk about how to make a successful transfer and fit in at a new school, how academic expectations are different, and how to get involved in undergraduate research. RPI, SUNY Albany, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the College of St. Rose, Sage and Siena will be represented at the event.
Time will be allowed for students to ask their own questions and pizza will be served!
