The Office of Workforce Development is pleased to offer Heating Systems Service & Repair, a non-credit course, this Spring 2023.
Do you have an interest in the in-demand field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) service and repair? This course provides introductory training and lab activities in various heating systems using gas, oil and electric. You will learn about the fundamentals of heating systems, the service and repair of these systems, the testing of these systems for efficiency and safe operation, proper installation techniques, basic service and diagnostic procedures/fault diagnosis on each type of furnace and boiler, and techniques on the proper use of meters, gauges and other diagnostic instruments.
Note: Courses taught through the Office of Workforce Development are not limited to the campus community. If someone you know outside of HVCC would like to take this or any other non-credit course through us, they may register online or contact our office.
