Car-Free for Climate
Car-Free for Climate (#NYSCarFree) is an event to promote and celebrate more sustainable modes of transportation. It is taking place Sept. 21 through Sept. 27.
You can participate by taking the pledge not drive your car at least
one day during that time period.

As you can see, transportation is the main source of greenhouse gases in New York State.

Buildings — 30 %
Electricity Generation — 15%
Waste — 7%

Agriculture — 4%
