Dr. Margaret Geehan, dean of Institutional Assessment and co-chair of the Middle States self-study, monitors our results and reports to the college on our effectiveness as an institution. She marshals the resources and data along with the help of the members of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee to write the Institutional Effectiveness report (IE Report).
The IE Report is a key piece of evidence in our self study. It is an aggregation of data along with analysis and explanations to better use the information to accomplish our Mission. Highlights of the report include the Core Indicators, Institutional Student Outcomes, our Retention Rate, and our Graduation Rate. We at Hudson Valley “inspect what we expect” and the IE Report is excellent evidence of our culture of assessment.
