2022-2023 Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research Announced

Lukas Donaghue is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research for his paper, “Bloomberg from Business to Politics to Climate Change Activism,” submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition under the direction of Sushmita Chatterji, a professor in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.
Second-place winner is Kiva Block Sprissler for the paper, “Why Nurses Quit: Factors Contributing to Burnout,” submitted in fulfillment of requirements for English Composition under the direction of Sara Kennedy, assistant professor in the English, Foreign Languages and English as a Second Language Department.
Donaghue and Block Sprissler will be recognized in the commencement program, on a perpetual plaque in the Dwight Marvin Library Learning Commons and will receive an award administered by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.
