Wellness Wednesdays
Throughout the semester, the Counseling and Wellness Services Office will be posting tips and videos to boost your mental and physical health!

Through the funds allotted to Hudson Valley Community College from the American Rescue Plan, Counseling and Wellness Services are proud to announce a new resource for our students.
iZen Massage Chairs!

iZen massage chairs are leaders in soothing pain, relieving tension, and overall improving our quality of life. Research has been conducted with massage professionals, physical therapists, and personal trainers to provide the best design and constructions of these chairs for our well-being. Alleviating tension through the use of these massage chairs can improve our physical and mental health as well as improve our sleep and circulation.
These massage chairs should also assist in providing emotional and psychological relief, boost mood, and reduce stress and anxiety. This is due to the effects of massage chairs allowing our bodies to decrease our cortisol levels and improve our levels of serotonin, thus reducing our stress and improving our mood. In short, these massage chairs can be very effective in coping with everyday stressors and emotional distress. For more information on the benefits of these massage chairs, visit https://www.izenmassage.com/health-benefits-of-massage/.
These massage chairs are placed throughout the main campus and beyond, incuding:
