Nancy LaChance’s Retirement Celebration

After over 20 years of service to Hudson Valley Community College, Nancy LaChance, data analysis coordinator II in the Admissions Office, will be retiring and setting out for new, more exciting (if possible) adventures. In her many years at the college, Nancy has served countless students, and answered a plethora of phone calls,. But her real talent lies within her ability to produce a report in lightning speed for not only the Admissions office, but numerous departments around campus  She is a trouper and always welcomed the opportunity for a good challenge.

She will forever be remembered as “Q” the Queen, “not one to complain,” her amazing flawless catwalk, maker of the best macaroni salad this side of the Hudson, Terri’s sister, Ian’s mom, her sweaters in every color and that friend that everyone wants. All her Admission’s family, past and present were and are so lucky to have.

Please join us on Thursday, May 4 from noon to 4 p.m. in Guenther Hall, room 223, as we celebrate Nancy and wish her well. There will be cake! If you haven’t had the privilege of meeting her, stop over and say hello, you won’t be sorry!

Come celebrate with us as we say goodbye and good luck to one of Admission’s FINEST.

“Buh-Bye,” Nanc!
