As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the health of our community, the college’s Health Services office is continuing to provide a weekly update for students, faculty and staff to share COVID-19 testing results and reports of positive cases (on or off campus), as well as important reminders and resources to be aware of during the ongoing pandemic.

Louis Coplin and Regina LaGatta, Co-chairs of the COVID-19 Sub-Committee of the Emergency Preparedness Committee, will give a brief presentation on the college’s efforts to combat COVID-19 and address any questions during the Academic Senate meeting today, Monday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. Those interested in participating can find the details on the college’s event calendar.
The college is also participating in a SUNY-wide “Mask Up” campaign to promote the importance of wearing masks to protect the health of our communities. Please take a moment to view and share the video below.
CURRENT STATISTICS
SUNY’s COVID-19 tracking website provides data updated daily on COVID-19 cases and testing. During the past week, at Hudson Valley Community College:
- 197 students, faculty and staff on campus participated in pooled surveillance testing.
- None of those individuals tested positive to date.
- No individuals reported testing positive through testing administered off campus.
