CET offers Microsoft Word Create Fillable Forms workshop

Create forms that users complete or print in Word
Thursday, Nov. 5 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Remote-via Zoom

Participants in this workshop will use Microsoft Office interface and Microsoft Word to create forms that users complete or print in Word.

To create a form in Word that others can fill out, participants will start with a template or document and add content controls. Content controls include things like check boxes, text boxes, date pickers, and drop-down lists. If you’re familiar with databases, these content controls can even be linked to data.

You will learn about:
–Show (Activate) the developer tab
–Document on which to base the form
–Open a template on which to base the form
–Open blank document on which to base the form
–Use an existing document
–Add content to the form
–Insert a text control
–Insert a picture control
–Insert a building block control
–Insert a combo box or drop down control
–Insert a date picker
–Insert a check box
–Use the legacy form controls
–Add protection to the form
(If you want to limit how much others can edit or format a form, use the Restrict Editing command.)
