Thanks to those who participated in the brainstorming process for Faculty Workshop Day, which will be held on Wednesday Feb. 24, 2021. We gathered several great ideas from you all!
After reviewing the survey results, we’ve determined that our theme for this year’s event will be “The Future of Pedagogy: Engaging Students from Near, Far, Wherever You Are.”
As a reminder, we plan to conduct the workshops in a webinar format. We’ve already received some great proposals for workshops, including

- Promoting Success of ESL Students in the College Classroom
- How to Openly Share your Faculty-Created Materials Using Creative Commons
- Clean Heating and Cooling and Other Renewables
- Meditation and Mindfulness for Stress Reduction during these COVID Times
- Using the Blackboard Gradebook — Basic and Advanced Techniques
- Basic Parliamentary Procedure
