On Aug. 7, President Roger Ramsammy, Dr. Tyler Kessel, dean of Business and Liberal Arts, and Dr. Jay Deitchman, director of Global Initiatives, welcomed a six-member delegation from Poland, whose mission was to learn about disability sports for social change and inclusion.
The group included Dr. Jaroslaw Pawel Amarowicz, research assistant, Jagiellonian Medical College; Katarzyna Anna Urbanska, international project manager, Sports and Rehabilitation Association Start, and founder president, Life Up Foundation; Michal Kruk, board member, For Heroes Foundation; Marta Helena Hernik, Fundacja Poland Business Run; Marcin Marian Krolikowski, sports and administrative director, Krakow Disability Sports Center; and Marta Maria Dalecka, associate professor, University of Zielona Gora.
