On Dec. 1, WRGB News 6 CBS reported on a GivingTuesday holiday meal distribution by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation. The event was the culmination of a week-long collection of food donations to create 100 holiday meals. The distribution was timed to follow traditional Thanksgiving food donation programs, addressing the ongoing need for food, especially seasonal favorites like cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Jana Putzig, who coordinates alumni relations and annual giving for the Foundation, is interviewed in the news clip.
