Times Union Columnist Chris Churchill penned an open letter to U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer about recent news that the Tri-City Valley Cats, who have played minor league baseball at the Joe Bruno Stadium on the Hudson Valley Community College campus since 2002. lost its bid to retain an affiliation with a major league baseball team.
