Talk Save Lives

Suicide CAN be prevented.

The college’s Counseling and Wellness Center is partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to offer Suicide Prevention & Mental Health.

The program will feature the AFSP’s TalkSavesLives™ presentation which covers what we know about this leading cause of death, the most up-to-date
research on prevention, and what we all can do to fight suicide.

Participants will learn the common risk factors of suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones and those in our community safe.

There will be two sessions of the same presentation:
Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to noon
Tuesday, March 23 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Please register for either date with Sandra Goldmeer at sgoldmeer@afsp.org.
Registrants will receive the ZOOM link 24-36 hours prior to their chosen date.
