Virtual Anxiety Support Group

Do you feel anxious?  Do you often worry?  Are these things impacting your life and keeping you from doing what you want to do?
Join us and your peers for an eight-week Virtual Anxiety Support Group every Wednesday beginning March 3.

Counseling and Wellness Services is offering a Virtual Anxiety Support Group. The support group will be a combination of psychoeducation on topics related to anxiety and worry, and facilitator and peer support. The group will continue for eight weeks. Interested students can view the topics being discussed below along with the expectations of the group. The Virtual Anxiety Support Group sessions will be every Wednesday from 11  a.m. to noon.

Week 1/March 3: Introduction to Anxiety and Worry
Week 2/March 10: Challenging Uncontrollable Beliefs
Week 3/March 17: Attention Training
Week 4/March 24: Challenging Positive Beliefs about Worrying
Week 5/March 31: Worrying vs. Problem
Week 6/April 7: Helpful Thinking
Week 7/April 14: Accepting Uncertainty
Week 8/April 21: Self- Management Plan
