The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is offering a virtual 10-week workshop examining contemporary issues revolving around diversity, equity and inclusion. The workshop will be facilitated by Chief Diversity Officer Ainsley Thomas and Taunya Hannibal-Williams, community outreach specialist in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI).
The workshop seeks to promote awareness, respect, and foster opportunities to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and engagement at the college. Participants will be reading and unpacking the ebook, “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?”
Classes begin Feb. 18 and will be held virtually every Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
