You may have noticed a new addition to many of our facilities around campus.
Hudson Valley Community College has installed “Stop the Bleed” emergency kits by the AED’s in many of our key facilities.
“Stop the Bleed” is a grassroots national awareness and training campaign. The kits and available training are part of the college’s ongoing effort to keep the HVCC community safe.
For training please contact Paul Swieton, the college’s Environmental Health and Safety director at p.swieton@hvcc.edu. All training is voluntary and will be scheduled in a way to be convenient for any departments and staff requesting it.
