For the first time in several years, the annual Rensselaer County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) conference will be held in person on Jan. 10, 2024 at Hudson Valley Community College. The free training event is already nearly 50 percent enrolled!
People working in the following fields are encouraged to attend: law enforcement, prosecutors and probation officers, victim advocates, child protective/child welfare, medical providers, mental health professionals, school personnel, community outreach and education staff, military and others who work with victims or survivors of sexual assault.
The conference offers great workshops, all FREE and presented by professionals in a variety of fields. SART planners and presenters hope to re-energize participants as they continue to provide services to victims/survivors of sexual assault.
