Today, Nov. 16: Noontime concert features The McKrells

Perennial local favorites The McKrells bring Celtic-infused bluegrass music to a live concert at noon on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium. The hour-long event, the fourth of a four-part concert series presented by the college’s Cultural Affairs Program, is open free to the public; no reservations or tickets are required to attend.
The McKrells has performed for countless audiences near and far, and maintains a dedicated following throughout the northeast United States. If indeed “the whole is greater than the sum of the parts,” then The McKrells is colossal. Made up of six, extremely-talented musicians with vast credentials of their own, the band is as popular today as it was decades ago.

Founder Kevin McKrell, singer, songwriter, storyteller and guitarist, is joined by Arlin Greene, bass; Scott Hopkins, banjo; Brian Melick, drums; Frank Orsini, fiddle, and Peter Pashoukos, lead guitar.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy The McKrells playing from its vast repertoire that includes songs from “Still Pickin’,” a 2022 album.
